Dr. Carley Wigley
Managing Veterinarian
Born and raised in Petal, MS, Dr. Wigley grew up on a small beef cattle farm and was active in 4-H. She graduated from Mississippi State University- College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Then she moved to Tampa, FL, for a small animal medicine and surgery internship after graduation. She moved back home in 2021. Since then, she has thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. In her spare time, she loves working outside on her family farm, gardening, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and traveling. She has two fur babies, that she rescued, Maddie and Maple Ann. Dr. Wigley is a huge advocate for the human-animal bond. Client education is one of her main passions in veterinary medicine. She also loves exotic medicine and husbandry. She can’t wait to share all her tips and tricks to provide health and longevity for your pets!

Dr. Roland Hutto
Veterinarian
Dr. Hutto prides himself on providing comprehensive care tailored to a diverse range of clients and patients and their unique needs. He believes that every pet and its owner deserve the personalized attention and care they deserve.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Hutto enjoys a variety of hobbies. He loves working on his hobby farm with his fiancée, kayaking, fishing, and immersing himself in a good book.

Dr. Shelby Ladner
Veterinarian
Dr. Ladner takes pride in creating personalized care plans that meet her patients’ medical needs and their families’ expectations. Her approach is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and a commitment to finding practical solutions that improve quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Ladner enjoys reading, staying active, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

Wendy
Practice Manager
Wendy was born and raised in central Mississippi. Ever since she was a young child, she has had a love for animals. In 2008, Wendy went to work at a spay-neuter clinic in Pearl, MS as a veterinary assistant. She knew as soon as she started that she was in the right field of work. In 2015, she moved to Gulfport and started at Northwood Hills Animal Hospital. She has 2 dogs names Lola (English Bulldog) and Nipsey (American Pit Bull).

Carley
Veterinary Assistant
Carley has over 3.5 years of experience in the veterinary field, working in both reception and technical roles. She earned her education from The University of Southern Mississippi and brings a calm, steady presence to even the most high-stress situations.
Carley takes great pride in advocating for patient comfort and well-being, especially when working with pets that may be a little more challenging—including scaly and slithery patients. Her compassion and ability to remain calm under pressure help ensure every pet receives gentle, attentive care.
In her free time, Carley enjoys reading, playing video games, and relaxing with her beloved fur babies.

Shi
Veterinary Assistant
Shi Ripple is a Veterinary Technician at Northwood Hills Animal Hospital with three years of experience in veterinary medicine. Shi is passionate about building strong relationships with both patients and clients, taking the time to get to know each pet and the people who love them.
Shi believes veterinary care is more than medicine—it’s about trust, connection, and making every client feel like part of the Northwood Hills family. This thoughtful, relationship-driven approach helps create a welcoming and supportive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Outside of work, Shi enjoys spending time with their five cats and their beautiful wife, soaking up every moment at home.

Koural
Veterinary Assistant
Koural takes pride in getting to know each individual client and patient, listening carefully to their needs to provide the best possible care—all while maintaining a warm and friendly approach. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and her family, listening to music, swimming, and going on trips.

Lyric
Veterinary Assistant
Lyric has been working with animals since the age of 14, gaining experience through a farm internship, FFA, and now as a Veterinary Assistant at Northwood Hills Animal Hospital. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Dairy Science from Mississippi State University in 2023.
Lyric takes great pride in providing compassionate care for every patient and strives to build trusting relationships with both pets and their owners.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Lyric also loves expressing her creativity through art and is always exploring new DIY projects.

Maryann
Veterinary Assistant
Maryann has been in the veterinary field for 4 years. She prides herself on building strong connections with clients and understanding their unique situations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog and family.

Kaleigh
Client Service Representative
Kaleigh is a dedicated Kennel Assistant with a passion for caring for animals as if they were her own. Kaleigh loves learning new things daily, which helps her grow personally and professionally. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and reading books.

Chelsea
Client Service Representative
Chelsea has been working in veterinary medicine for the past four years. A graduate of Biloxi High School, Chelsea is passionate about providing compassionate, empathetic care and takes great pride in treating every patient as if they were her own.
Chelsea’s approach to veterinary care is rooted in kindness and understanding, ensuring both pets and their people feel comfortable and cared for during every visit.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys reading books, playing video games, and spending quality time cuddling with her cat, Ripley.

Amber
Groomer
Amber is a groomer with over 20 years of experience! After graduating high school she did vocational schooling. She has 5 dogs and 3 beta fish. They are Chito (Chihuahua), Beanie (Chihuahua), Willow (Pit Bull Mix), Finely (Yorkipoo), and Tundra (Belgian Malinois). In her free time, Amber enjoys rock climbing, fishing, fish tanks, and gardening.
