Veterinarian
Dr. Shelly Wyatt has been a practicing veterinarian for 15 years, having earned her degree from the University of Georgia. She is a passionate advocate for preventative medicine and client education. When she isn’t busy looking after her furry patients, Dr. Wyatt enjoys cooking (especially baking), reading and taking time for a hike in the great outdoors.

Dr. Robert Barcala
Veterinarian
Dr. Robert Barcala has been a practicing veterinarian for 31 years. He earned his B.S. degree in Biology and Chemistry at Stanford University and graduated from the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He strongly believes that the best care for any patient is a multi-personnel approach where the veterinarian, technicians, and pet owners are all working as a team to achieve the best results for the patient. His hobbies include photography, traveling, antique restoration, and, together with his wife of 23 years, taking in old or sick patients who need extra care and providing them with the best quality of life possible.

Morgan
Veterinary Assistant
Morgan studied at MGCCC and is a Veterinary Assistant. She has 7 1/2 years of vet med experience. She is a mother to 5 children and has been on the coast her whole life. In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with family watching movies, and playing basketball.

David
Veterinary Assistant
David has been a practicing vet tech for the past two years. He attended Denham Springs High School, Penn Foster, and Southeastern Louisiana University. He prides himself on his ability to calm his patients and provide a safe and comfortable space for them. In his free time he enjoys relaxing and watching his favorite shows on Netflix.

Rachael
Veterinary Assistant
Rachael has been in the veterinarian field for about 12 years. She attended U.S. Army Signal School to become an Information Technician Specialist. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is helping clients and taking the best care of their pets. Rachael prides herself on client education and helping owners understand what is happening with their pets. In her free time, she plays video games, reads, writes, and colors.

Wendy was born and raised in central Mississippi. Ever since she was a young child, she has had a love for animals. In 2008, Wendy went to work at a spay-neuter clinic in Pearl, MS as a veterinary assistant. She knew as soon as she started that she was in the right field of work. In 2015, she moved to Gulfport and started at Northwood Hills Animal Hospital. She has 2 dogs names Lola (English Bulldog) and Nipsey (American Pit Bull).

Julie has been in the vet med field for 4 years. She attended West Harrison High School. Julie loves making sure her clients and patients are doing well. She loves knowing that she can make a difference in their health and well-being. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with her husband. watching the Atlanta Braves play and playing video games.

Amber is a groomer with over 20 years of experience! After graduating high school she did vocational schooling. She has 5 dogs and 3 beta fish. They are Chito (Chihuahua), Beanie (Chihuahua), Willow (Pit Bull Mix), Finely (Yorkipoo), and Tundra (Belgian Malinois). In her free time, Amber enjoys rock climbing, fishing, fish tanks, and gardening.
